Jetzt funktioniert das ganze wieder unter Windows und Linux. OpenSuSE bemerkt einen Anschlusswechsel nicht. Dies funktioniert aber nur unter Windows. Was jedoch half, dass ich das Kabel am DVI (gelb zu weiß) Anschluss der Grafikarte wechselte.

The entire system is faster on startup because ASUS's leaky software isn't running. System is rock solid, running two monitors. I have not had a system reboot at all since install. Overall Review: I've since bought the EVGA GeoForce 9500GT 1GB PCIE 2.0 card (from newegg) and have a grand total of ZERO problems. So, to come here and 1) post that you're sorry about the inconvenience and then 2) make an offer to help that is empty because no help is available and then 3) Have the stones to click on "no - I didn't find this review helpful" really reveals what your true intentions are - get people to buy these by discrediting folks who already have and discovered that they DO NOT WORK!! If you'd have read my review you'd have seen that I DID TRY TO CONTACT ASUS TECH SUPPORT USING A PREVIOUSLY PROVIDED CASE NUMBER AT THE ADDRESS YOU PROVIDED! Guess what? NO RESPONSE!!
While I do appreciate the fact that you're posting the OPPORTUNITY to solve all the issues that I and obviously many others are having with this card I can also see through the fact that all you're trying to do is discredit people's comments. And of course I can't reply to them because their support system sucks.Ĭons: HORRIBLE tech support. Those steps to see if there is any improvement.

Standby is very Videoĭriver dependant, so much so that when drivers are not installed you cannot even enter standby. Dual display is all controlled via drivers and it seemsĪs if the drivers are not retaining the proper settings when coming out of standby.

Possible check ATI for any beta driver downloads. When you installed the driver did you use the driver from the ATI website or the ASUS website. As previously requested, I have updated all drivers, BIOS, and reinstalled Windows with the latest drivers. When my dual monitors try to come out of tandby, only one monitor wakes up (the one connected to the yellow socket). This is the third time I am contacting you regarding this issue. Overall Review: This is the text I sent to ASUS in a support ticket. Don't expect to get any help by phone, though. Your options are then to either fill out a new support ticket or pick up the phone. That is the end of their support though, because there is no way to reply to the message. If you decide to contact ASUS by there support website, you will probably receive a response that asks what drivers you have loaded. I did not want to use phone support, but there is no choice. I have contacted ASUS on three separate occasions by email and twice by phone. Tech support is not only a joke, it is downright maddening. Rather than attempt to solve any of the many reported problems, they deny that anyone else has experienced issues with this card. Cons: This card has numerous compatibility problems that ASUS is either unwilling or unable to resolve.
